IE Law Enforcement Task Force

Sexual exploitation of children makes headlines across the world daily.  While bringing a whole world of information to our children, the Internet has also brought with it an emerging and fast-growing medium in which pedophiles apply their crimes of perversions.  As a result, law enforcement everywhere is struggling to keep up with the fast pace of Internet related crime and child exploitation. This is why we have created the Innocent Eyes Law Enforcement Task Force.

Upon joining and approval, all participating agencies will have access to our unique Law Enforcement Training course.

The Innocent Eyes Task Force Basic Online Undercover Operations Course was created for state and local law enforcement officers new to the area of investigating computer facilitated crimes against children.  Most attendees will leave this course having received enough training to begin online undercover operations as well as peer to peer child pornography cases in their jurisdictions.  Students with any level of familiarity with the Internet and computers, from beginning to advanced, will find this course beneficial.

The course curriculum has been created and will be taught by Toby J. Aguillard and Chris Duff. Toby, a former assistant attorney general and former Commander of Louisiana’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, has both prosecuted and investigated hundreds of online child exploitation cases and is a certified law enforcement instructor by the Louisiana P.O.S.T. Council.  Chris, a former Special Agent with the Louisiana’s Attorney General’s High Tech Crime Unit and member of the Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force has arrested hundreds of Internet predators and child pornography criminals.

Being members of the task force also allows for agencies to share information and attack these problems as a team which is much more effective to the common goal. When available, Aguillard and Duff will come to participating agencies headquarters and assist in training, ongoing cases, and any additional guidance needed.

This course is offered to commissioned law enforcement officers and prosecuting attorney’s only and space is usually limited. To join please fill out the contact form below with agency details and we will contact you with registration information.
